Silhouette

  • 300 x 120 x 76.5 cm
  • Cast aluminium, mirror polished finish, granite honed finish

Silhouette takes the form of multiple outlines, each distinct yet derived from a shared origin. Like pebbles shaped by water, no two are identical, but all carry the same logic of making, proportion, and material. Variation is not decorative but inherent, emerging through subtle shifts in contour and balance.

The table is composed of two elements, a cast aluminium frame and an inset stone surface. The frame brings together top and legs as a continuous form, its mirror polished finish reflecting light and surroundings with a fluid, almost liquid quality. The legs taper with a circular profile, softening their presence and giving the object a sense of lift, as if the stone plane is held lightly above the ground.

In contrast, the stone introduces weight and stillness. Its thickness is held within the frame, giving it a more grounded and tectonic presence. Silhouette moves between reflection and mass, lightness and gravity, forming an object that is both precise and quietly atmospheric.
