Node begins with the image of a pebble resting beneath the surface of water, where light bends and shimmers across its form. The object emerges from the idea of something both still and in motion, a stone settled within a gentle current while the water continues to move around it. The impression is one of suspension, balance, and quiet movement held in place.
The seat is cast in aluminium and mirror polished so that its surface reflects surroundings in a soft, liquid way. Four small feet read as pebbles carried along by a current and momentarily brought to rest, lifting the object lightly from the ground. A shallow carved depression defines where the body rests, while the reflective seat and tapered supports create a balance between stillness and movement.
