Node II continues from the same reading of a form held in suspension, where surface and support are understood as part of a single continuous movement. Returning to an initial intention of three points of contact, the geometry of the seat is carefully shaped to stabilise and resolve this condition, allowing the object to rest with a quiet certainty.
Cast in aluminium, the seat is refined to a thinner edge, giving it a lighter and more precise presence. Its surface is gently carved, suggesting the movement of water held in stillness, where reflections shift subtly across it. The legs, shared with Node I, extend fluidly from the underside, their familiar tapered forms now drawn into a more integrated relationship with the seat. The transition between elements is softened, allowing the object to read as a single, continuous gesture, balanced delicately yet with a sense of calm resolution.
