Concept Store Seoul occupies a single floor within an existing building in the Seongsu district of Seoul. The original interior was defined by terrazzo floors, perimeter picture windows, a central concrete column, and exposed beams establishing a clear structural rhythm across the open plan. The design builds upon this existing logic through the idea of a universal plane that unifies floor and ceiling, allowing the interior to remain open and continuous.

The central column organizes the space into two contrasting conditions. On one side, garments are suspended from ceiling-mounted rails so that clothing appears to float above an unobstructed floor. On the other, a large black stained timber console and a black tinted glass changing room establish a grounded presence. Mirror-polished stainless steel panels clad the ceiling, extending depth and light across the interior.

Movable polycarbonate screens define the perimeter, filtering strong southern daylight while allowing natural light to diffuse softly into the space. Together with the ceiling rail system, the interior can be quickly reconfigured — shifting between showroom, exhibition, and runway. The space therefore operates as a flexible stage for fashion, capable of adapting to the changing needs of the brand.
